The field of Information Technology is the use of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data. The Foundation in Information Technology programme prepares students with computer knowledge as well as mathematical and physics skills and the practice required to meet the needs of an undergraduate study. This programme is designed to prepare students with the necessary foundation to pursue a degree in various bachelor programmes such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Communications and Networking, Information Technology Management, Security Technology and Business Information Systems. The foundation in Information Technology programme is delivered through engaging lectures which serve to build knowledge and is further supplemented with laboratory work to help develop one's practical skills.
